2. Tell us one tip or piece of advice you give to all your clients?
When couples are getting married, they hear a ton of advice, solicited or not. The best advice Bob & I received when we were planning our wedding was to take a quiet 20 minute break together alone, outside of where the festivities were happening and look in at what we created. All the guests were there for us; to celebrate our love! It takes months, sometimes years to plan a perfect wedding day, and it goes by in a blink of an eye. If you’re working with an event planner, make sure to let them know to work this into the itinerary and have them remind you during the reception, it will be hard to remember to do it yourself. You will not regret it! One of the other pieces of advice I would give to our clients is to ask for help. If their budget doesn’t allow for an event planner, call on their friends and family to help make decisions. And try to go with the flow and laugh when things inevitably do not go as planned.
We love to meet and exceed our client’s expectations. In order to do this, you have to keep things fresh, fabulous and unique! I get a lot of inspiration by reading bridal magazines and popular wedding blogs like Junebug Weddings and Style Me Pretty. I keep an open mind and never think I know it all…. far from it.
4. Share with us one of the most memorable events you took part in and why it was so special.
It’s always a really memorable event when the bride and groom thank us in their toast on their wedding day. We are always surprised by that and feel it’s quite an honor. We consider most of our clients to be dear friends.
Besides the obvious, faith, family and friends, I would have to say my iPhone, my shoes, and my credit card! I love to shop!
